Haileigh has been dancing since the age of 2 years old and clogging since she was 4. Haileigh has danced with Capital City for over 10 years now going from the elementary team to the young adult group, and clogging has been a big part of her life and has brought many exciting experiences for herself and team members.
When Haileigh was 8 years old, she had the opportunity to dance in Disney on their Main Street parade. In her junior year of high school, she was selected for the Palmetto's Finest Dance Team. She then went off to college at Lander University and graduated in 2019 but knew her heart was still in clogging, so she came back home and rejoined CCC again as a young adult team member.
Haileigh performed in the 2019 London New Year’s Day Parade and was recently inducted into the 2022 American Clogging Hall of Fame in October. Capital City has always been her 2nd family, and she is so happy to continue her passion for clogging now as a young adult!
Maddy Raye has been a Capital City Clogger for 11 years. She started dancing when she was 3 years old, and competed at her first competition at 5 years old. She has competed in both rise and shine solos and choreographed, and has competed with both the junior and senior/young adult team. In October of 2022 she was inducted into the Junior All American Clogging Hall of Fame. Maddy Raye is happy to share the love of clogging with her group of little ones.
Abby has been with Capital City for 6 years but has been clogging since age 6. She is currently a member of the Junior and Senior Competition Team. She loves not only clogging but enjoys all genres of dance. Since becoming a competition team member, she has also competed multiple choreographed and rise and shine solos and duets. Abby is excited to share her passion and love of the sport with new dancers so that the art of dance can continue in future generations.
